It’s not uncommon for devs to want to talk about what they have made so unique about their product. Hell, it’s no secret I’m rooting that this game does well. A recent Trailer was dropped doing just that, them explaining why they made certain decisions pertaining to the game. One thing in particular that they are meshing authentic with a bit of that gaming flare to really make the game pop.
The Lead narrative designer was like “you play a black man, so when you walk into a convenience store from the 1960s, you will feel and experience what it was like back then.” to me that’s very important that perhaps this may be what breaks barriers in not just the gaming industry but maybe society as well. One can only hope.
